Without Amdal, The Commission III Ask PT CAN to be Reviewed

FERTILIZER, PT. Cipta Agro Nusantara (CAN) operating in Dalaka Village is
suspected to have no Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA). In addition, PT CAN
is also strongly suspected of not licensing the Analysis of Hazardous and Toxic
Waste Storage or B3. The statement was conveyed by Deputy Chairman of
Commission III of DPRD Donggala, Moh Nasir to Kaili Post yesterday
(07/02/2018). His statement was related to the existence of the company his
wife was never shown to the DPRD, especially the Commission III.

related to the construction of the factory,” he said. Nasir also confirmed
that if the DPRD document process should be involved because of the relevant

AMDAL permit must be in the Ministry of Environment. He cited the Mpanau steam
power plant which was closed due to lack of AMDAL, and storage of B3 waste. He
hopes that this case will be processed according to the law. “There are
rules that are violated so it must be in the legal process,” he said
again.
