Governor Encourages in Enhancing Health HDI and UHC

Central Sulawesi Governor Longki Djanggola presided over a Coordination Meeting to accelerate the improvement of the Human Health Development Index and the Acceleration of the JKN Universe Coverage in Central Sulawesi Province at the Governor's Office on Tuesday (04/09/2018).

On the occasion, the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Longki Djanggola, said that the HDI in Central Sulawesi was influenced by indicators in Public Health. On the occasion, the Governor conveyed that every health coordination coordination meeting was always delivered by the Minister of Health in order to improve the Central Sulawesi HDI, especially in the Health sector, which is why I ordered the Head of the Health Office to be made a special coordination meeting in the health sector with the Regent and Mayor of Palu and related DPOs.

There are a number of things that need to be our concern together, when we nominate ourselves as Regional Heads we promise to improve public health and get free medical treatment for the community for that I expect the word of the Governor so that what is our commitment can be truly implemented.

Furthermore, the Governor said that there are several things that must be considered in the Health sector including Stunting Rate Reduction or stunted humans due to lack of Nutrition, Infant Mortality and Maternal Mortality and community health levels.

Secondly, in order that the entire community of Central Sulawesi in 2019 get Health Insurance which is the coverage of JKN and KIS towards the UHC (Universal Health Coverage), the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government can share the budget with the Regencies and Cities of Central Sulawesi Province. With a sharing of 20% borne by the Province and 80% borne by each Regency and City according to the needs of each district and the City of Palu.

For that we need our common commitment and we sign the commitment today, the Governor said, with the intention of becoming our concern in the determination of the 2019 budget.

According to the BPJS calculation assuming sharing 20% ​​of the province budgeted in 2019 amounting to Rp. 47,401,068,000 to go to UHC in 2019. Lastly the Governor with the Regent and Mayor of Palu carried out the signing of the Joint Agreement Commitment. ***
