ForBes Sends Tsunami Team to Sunda Disaster

FORUM Bersama (ForBes) Indonesia sent disaster response emergency teams to the tsunami disaster sites in the cities of Banten and South Lampung on Monday (12/24/2018). The team will be tasked by helping to distribute aid while evacuating the victims.

Chairperson of ForBes Indonesia, Ronny Tanusaputra said that his team represented the Indonesian people, especially in Central Sulawesi, who were also concerned and condoled the disaster in Banten and South Lampung. Although currently ForBes Indonesia focuses on the disaster recovery in Palu, Sigi and Donggala, but as a form of humanitarian solidarity, they sent a team as well as logistical assistance.

"The team we sent was Pak Hasril and Pak Ardy. They will depart from Palu to Jakarta to bring aid then to Banten and South Lampung tomorrow, "said Ronny. There was also assistance brought by the team, he continued, with basic needs, toddlers' needs and tents. The team will later work until the conditions in the region begin to be conducive.

Meanwhile, ForBes Indonesia Media and Communication Division Coordinator Andri Gultom invited all people to channel their assistance to ForBes Indonesia for the tsunami victims in Banten and South Lampung. The method is to send through BRI's official account ForBes 1291-01-000284-56-5 or can provide it directly to Indonesian ForBes at the secretariat of Jalan Setiabudi, No. 72, Palu City. “No matter how small the assistance provided, it is very helpful for the victims and ForBes Indonesia invites us all to care about humanity," he concluded.**
