Peace rally in Aotea Square, Auckland, NZ (Saturday, 16/3/2019) 
Thousands of New Zealanders held a solidarity force on massacre at two Christchurch mosques.
The action which was held on the Aotea Square, Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday (03/16/2019) condemned the bloody tragedy which resulted in 49 people dead.
Residents voiced calls and condemnation of terrorist acts that snatch away the lives of New Zealand Muslims.
“A terrible atrocity. We are all distressed and in shock that something like this could happen in NZ. There are a lot of rallies and peace gatherings going on right around the country to show solidarity with our Muslim community. We are one”, said one of New Zealand citizen, Michelle Daly, as sent to the Kaili Post.

Hundreds of flower arrangements and messages of condolence were held at the Al-Jamie Mosque Mosque in Ponsonby Auckland.
“A single gunman acting on his own. It’s being described as a terrorist act and a hate crime. The gunman is not representing any group that we know of,” she said.
Michele Daly invited the public to raise awareness for the victims. According to her, there are many ways that can be done, such as praying together, actions of solidarity, education so as not to commit violence to anyone.
Similar actions were held throughout the country of New Zealand.

Previously, the world was shocked by the events of dozens of Muslim shootings at Dean Ave Mosque and Linwood Mosque in downtown Christchurch. **
